In 1963, the Dereli family, a gun merchant who lived a joyful life in the idyllic geography of the island, was attacked like other Turkish families with the onset of what is known as Bloody Christmas. As family members separated from each other were driven out of their towns and began a forced migration, Kemal Dereli, the head of the family, became the leader of thousands of Turks on the migration route with his own family.
While fighting for his life in Cyprus, the Ankaraian who was sent to the island from Turkey on a secret mission changes the course of events in Nicosia. The love of Ankara resident and his fiancee, who became a hidden hero on the island, blended with longing and struggle for life, is intertwined with the story of the Dereli family.
The Turkish Cypriots who escaped from attacks and persecution and were forced to migrate from their villages started to reach Nicosia. The shortage of food and sleeping places is the biggest problem now. Thousands of painful people are struggling with hunger, cold and shelter in the streets of Nicosia. Rauf Denktaş and Ankara residents set up a risky plan to seize the food stock that Makaryos usurped. Kemal and Derviş learn that Samson was the one who assassinated Bereli. Samson is stuck on the Turkish side. Kemal contacts Samson with the radio in his hand. Now a cat-and-mouse game starts between Kemal and Samson, directed by Kemal. When the KGB deciphered Bereli’s identity through Ayşe in Ankara, a war broke out between the Soviets and Intelligence. Gunshots are spoken in the streets of Ankara. İnci takes advantage of Samson’s absence and runs away. Now the mother and daughter await a tense pursuit and escape chase with EOKA in the Greek streets.
